We’ve done it again! We are delighted to share that Cinos have once again achieved the prestigious ‘We invest in people gold’ accreditation.
Who are Investors in People?
Formed in 1991, Investors in People (IIP) is a leading international accreditation body for business improvement through people management. Since their inception, IIP have accredited more than 50,000 organisations against their ‘We invest in people’ framework, an accreditation that is recognised in 66 countries, making it the global benchmark for people management.
How did Cinos achieve ‘We invest in people’ gold?
IIP assesses Cinos’ performance using the ‘We invest in people’ framework, which evaluates how we lead, support, and develop our people. Initially, all our team members participated in an anonymous Online Assessment (OLA). Following this, a selected group took part in direct interviews to provide deeper insights into what it’s truly like to work for Cinos.
In the report, Caroline England, Practitioner at IIP summarised: “This is an organisation that understands the importance of having an engaged and happy staff who want to join, remain and do their best for the business. There is a positive ethos in the business with many long service employees and a real appreciation that everyone has a role in contributing to the business aims – you have open communication and positive feedback processes, collaborative practices and development opportunities.”
Cinos has been recognised as an Investor in People since 2015, and this marks the second consecutive time we’ve achieved the prestigious gold status—a level attained by only 28% of organisations. This recognition not only affirms that we have the right policies in place but also highlights the commitment of our people and leadership teams in bringing those policies to life.
Our people are our greatest asset, and we are committed to continuously improving how we manage, develop, and lead. Earning the ‘We invest in people’ gold accreditation for a second time underscores this dedication, and it is something I am immensely proud of. Our commitment to excellence extends to every aspect of our work, including how we support and empower our teams. We will continue to seek improvement, using feedback from IIP to develop an action plan that drives ongoing progress and success. | ||
