Barco deliver wireless conferencing with ClickShare Conference
This year, the second floor of the stand was solely dedicated to the new range of ClickShare devices – ClickShare Conference. Whilst it was extremely busy, Nigel managed to find our team a demonstration slot where we got to grips with the new product range.
Building on the success of the ClickShare family, ClickShare Conference is an innovative and unique product range which enables you to ‘Bring Your Own Meeting’ to any space you visit.
As we were taken through the demonstration the advantages were clear. We live in a world where we each use multiple conferencing platforms, even if our employer is trying to standardise on one. Setting up meeting rooms can become longwinded, problematic and in some cases, impossible.
With ClickShare Conference you can simply walk into the meeting room, connect the new ClickShare Button and within 7 seconds you are ready go. ClickShare Conference makes your laptop the centre of the meeting; allowing you to use the conferencing tools you prefer whilst connecting to a high quality in-room camera, speakers and microphones for a fully immersive video conferencing experience.
Nigel explained that to cater for meeting spaces of all sizes, Barco have released 3 versions of ClickShare Conference. Each model offers remote collaboration & conferencing, 5-year warranty, free updates, XMS insights and enhanced support. The units are available from the start of April 2020 and we are well placed to discuss any requirements you may have.
Barco UniSee 500
Nigel took us around the rest of the stand where we saw the latest developments in Barco’s LCD range, most notably a new version of the Barco UniSee video wall.
Barco UniSee was introduced 2 years ago and has taken the LCD video wall market by storm. Each panel is perfectly aligned for a seamless viewing experience thanks to the unique mounting solution (UniSee Mount) and real time brightness and calibration.
New at ISE this year was the UniSee 500. Nigel explained that unlike the flagship model, UniSee 500 offers typical brightness levels of 500 cd/m², making it ideal for environments where ambient light can be controlled. At a lower brightness the UniSee 500 is not only easier on the eyes but it reduces energy usage as well as the radiant heat coming from the panels.
Cinos have completed a number of UniSee installations and are one of only a few companies in the UK who have a demo unit. Please feel free to reach out if this is something you are interested in and would like to take a closer look.
SecureStream for Control Rooms
Having made our name in command & control installations, the team from Cinos were keen to see the latest control room developments on the Barco stand. Nigel introduced us to one of their latest innovations – SecureStream – a media streaming solution which enables operators to easily and securely share content beyond the control room. It is safe to say our team were impressed.
Using a very intuitive user interface, operators can simply drag and drop video or data sources into a SecureStream channel and share this with field staff or remote experts. In enables authorised people to gain a complete understanding of the situation, contributing to better and faster decision making. With its ease of use, security and clear advantages, SecureStream is certainly a solution we will be considering for future installations.
With so many new products and developments on show it is impossible to mention all the highlights.
It was great to see the classic ClickShare devices on show, as well Barco’s expanded LED offering with five new models in the LED XT series. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Nigel and the team at Barco for their time at ISE. For more information on the solutions mentioned here please get in touch. As a Barco Gold Partner, we are perfectly placed to discuss your requirements.
